Seems like you were just expecting a bit too much.īut i also noticed that a lot of things are still low texture mush but other things also look a lot better now. I really don't know why they did the effort and probably spending money for just that.Īside from the other things they already screwed up like class balance or more and more force to buy for real money, this update was not neccessary after all. Some groundtextures are still pixelated mush (exactly copied from the UE3 I bet).Ĭombat effects are also still exactly the same, not increasing the details or enhanced effect quality. No better shadow/lights or grass isn't even to wave in the wind or else, still stiff and like artificial accessories like it was before. object and character res quality increased and the blur on the background vanished. But I totally woudl think this must be actualy running on at least 150 fps and more on 4K/UHD for my system with that not so much better quality.īut the only thing I noticed. People are still talking about low FPS and FPS drops, so much for "better performance"- I didn't even look into my FPS rate. I dunno why they even did this update if they don't use any of the new tech the UE4 is providing. Open the file Scalability.ini it should be empty so paste all this:I took a peek into it after long time again, and I personally have to say this update is indeed amazingly. Open the file GameUserSettings.ini and replace all the portion to: Save and make the file read-only if you want. R.DefaultFeature.AmbientOcclusionStaticFraction=0 Open the file Engine.ini and at the end of the document paste this (by the way, I found out that “r.AllowLandscapeShadows=0” is making the game A LOT smoother, you can ONLY add this line and be done with this guide if you want since this parameter gives 15-20FPS, rest of the guide will add some rare visual glitches but will give 60fps EVERYWHERE): :\steamapps\common\Bless Unleashed\Bless\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditorīackup the files used in this guide below before modifying them. The files are where you installed the game: This is TDLR guide haha, that’s what I use right now. I think just changing the resolution scale to 85 in GameUserSettings.iniĪnd adding this to Engine.ini is enough to boost the game without changing the visual that much The GuideĮdit: since this guide change the visuals too much to my taste, after more testing, here is a very simple modification to boost the FPS A LOT without changing the visuals that much. I played some hours with that, no problem. And some other settings that will help to make the game have more FPS. With my settings, you put it at 85%, a good balance. By default if you lower the rendering scale under Normal, it will go to 71%.
